I just got a new puppy yesterday, 8 weeks old, 1.25 pounds. We went to the vet yesterday and I told the vet he was itching. Vet (not regular vet, she is out of town) just said if he had flees they would die soon (I live in Nevada).
We had the puppy outside today and my son found several flees on him. I tried picking them out but they are fast. I have never even seen a flee before. I am afraid they will be all over my house and my other dog now.
I will call the vet tomorrow, does anyone have suggestions for tonight and is it not really that big of a deal? or is it?
