Thank you for all the nice comments and reassurances. I was up almost all night worrying about it. I just have a bad feeling about leaving her for 5 nights while we are on vacation with this not being taken care of.
So, here is what I decided to do. When I have had to be away before I have always had someone come to the house several times a day to take care of her. I can't stand the thought of boarding her. But, the animal hospital we go to has boarding at their main facility where they do the operations. So, I can take her there tonight and she will have the spay/hearia operation/ microchip all done at the same time on either Tues. or Wed. The benefit to her safety and my peice of mind is that she is already at the hospital should anything go wrong.
As much as I feel bad for having her there so long, it is the safest place for her considering all things. This way they will be able to monitor before and after her surgery. The people there are very kind and I do trust them, so that is all good too.
Please say a prayer that her surgeries go well.
Thanks for your support.
