Sissy continued with diarhea all through the 1st day, though she continued eating, drinking and playing normally.

Yesterday, the 2nd day, she had bloody diarhea all throughout her room when I got her up in the morning. That was concerning enough, but then she refused to eat or drink anything and was beginning to get lethargic. I called and took her to the vet. She was in the beginnings of dehydration. She received IV hydration, an anti-inflammatory injection and her meds for giardia were changed to a broad spectrum to cover any potential bacteria.

Within a couple hours of being at the vet, she perked right up. Today she is eating and drinking normally and no more diarhea! The vet thinks the giardia just went bizerk following the stress of having been boarded.

It is such a relief to see her hyper little self again!!
