1st. it depends on their mood
you cant get them to stay still if they're already hyper!
Sometimes just making weird noises so she'll look at the camera
hooting and stuff
I have to come up with sounds she hasn't heard before
if that isn't working I
2nd. grab and itsy bitsy piece of her treat
I tell her "sit" "good sit" then "wait, stay"
then I slowly back up from her hold the treat right above the camera
and take the picture quickly (while making crazy noises, whistleing)
and I usually can get her to pay more attention if I'm the only one doing it
when we used to try me holding her then letting go for the picture
it'd make her more hyper!
