My first furbaby was named after Scarlett O'Hara from GWTW (I'm a HUGE fan) - Katie Scarlett O'Hara of Tara was her name and we called her Katie. Katie is now playing across rainbow bridge
I miss her so much even though she's been gone over 10 years now.
Now I have Gabby who's name is Gabrielle's Jewel (I liked Gabrielle and Jewel was her mother's name). Last year, we rescued Gage. Previous owner had just called him Lil Man and I wanted something different. Hubby was reluctant to let me keep him so after staying with us for a month on a "trial", hubby finally said we had to name him. I let him decide, thinking it would help him warm up more to him (and it worked!! - took a couple more months but it worked - he didn't like having 2 dogs in the house but he does now). He picked Gage because he wanted a "G" name to go with Gabby.
