The best male pet is a neutered one. An unneutered male is more likely to roam, hump objects, mark your house with urine, and be more aggressive to other male dogs. The earlier you neuter the better your chances of him not developing these behaviors. If you decide to stud your Yorkie, he won't be ready until about 1 year and maybe even a bit longer. By breeding only once, you have already lost the advantages of having him neutered early and will have to deal with the behaviorial consequences for the rest of his life.
The missing toes could be related to the Mom's exposure to some chemical while pregnant, but it could also be genetic. It could also be from Mom chewing the toes off. Probably not any way to be sure exactly what the cause is - the breeder would be the best one to give an opinion on this. |
