I don't know that I would do it one way or another but I really don't see anything wrong with it. I just don't think its my taste to have my dog done like that. But I will say Reagan would probably be happier with her coat dyed then wearing some of the clothes I put on her every now and then, especially the shoes.
I was reading on a groomers forum the other day and how one person suggested dying the dogs, just what I read haven't done it personally so not sure: To use food coloring you get the good kind ( paste)from where the bakers get their supplies and add 1/3 cup of vinegar to a gallon of water/color mixed. It was said that the vinegar sets the color just as it does on easter eggs. Another one said they used just regular liquid food coloring in the little squeeze dropper bottles or whatnot. I don't know how long it lasts or anything though...
