Hi Everybody,
I have a year old Yorkie who is 10 lbs. she just went into her first heat and I would like to mate her once. I know I can't mate her until her second heat but I just want to have this all planned. There are people who say she is not the breed standard but so many people here have Yorkies that are bigger than Lexy. I would like a male that is around 4 to 6 lbs. Lexy has beautiful colors with a great temperment. I was told by a breeder that I should watch her because she could get nasty and try to bite my other dog when she goes into her first heat. Well I could glady say that she is still as loveable as ever. You wouldn't of even known she was heat but I notices she was liking her self a lot so I checked her. I was actually scared because she is a year and 3 months old. I would like to thank everybody who told me to wait some dogs take longer and they were all right!!!. Please if any one out there lives near Port Jefferson Long Island or in the vicinity please let me know if you would like to stud your baby for a puppy or a fair stud price I am interested.
Or, if any one has any ideas of where I could go to inquire about a stud. I tried a couple of people on the internet and they felt very cold. I emailed a nice long story of how greate my Lexy was and I got an email back with a price and that's it. I just felt they only wanted to make money off their dog. I think they should of gave me more information.
