I have seen many boutiques use the term also. I really don't have a problem with the term except I think it is unfair that some breeders use it on a reqular basis and it can take away business from the ones who don't. I think if someone had a small yorkie and it was just born small I don't think it would be wrong for a breeder to call it that to describe it. I think the term can also be a little unfair towards people whose dogs aren't tcups also. Does that mean their dogs aren't rare and unique as tcups are described. I just think its a term that separates owners of this breed rather than unites it. This is just my opinion but I have to say I also have a small yorkie and I don't get offended when people don't like the teacup terminology. |
