Actually, there is a birth control bill for dogs. I've used it once before when my dog was going into heat and I couldn't let her because of a tournament. Now I don't have to worry because she is spayed. It was suggested to me by a breeder. The (hormone) pill stops a dog from going into heat. However, if the dog is in full blown heat, then the pills are useless.
Check with your vet about the pills. My vet had some. |
