No disposable diapers! My mother had 4 kids under the age of 2 (my brother 2 yo, my twin sisters, 1 yo, and me, just born!) and she had to hand wash and hang up all the diapers! They didn't even have a washing machine (1955) so she washed clothes in the bathtub! Oh yeah, when did birth control pills come out? |
