If it were me, I could not leave my babies that long, the longest I have ever had to be away from them was a couple days, I can't imagine 4 months.
So I would do exactly what mikey said, I would take them with me, this way I get to enjoy the great opportunity while not having to worry or miss my babies because they would be there with me enjoying my once in a lifetime experience!!
