I guess your vet doesn't feel that the adult teeth will push the baby teeth out on their own? Oscar just got neutered and had 14 baby teeth pulled - some of them had roots an INCH long (HUGE for a teeny mouth, he's only 2lbs 9oz). His adult teeth were growing in around his baby teeth - he looked like a shark in the front because he actually had 2 rows of teeth (gross). I would definitely recommend having it done while she's getting spayed - saves another surgery down the road if these teeth don't end up falling out on their own, and it IS a surgery that they need to be sedated for. |
