We have had Jolene since last October, she whelped a litter of pups before we got her, and she came with two pups in tow until they could be placed.
Her first heat with us was in March, the first week. She had the usual swelling, irritability, and obviously the bleeding. Well, tonight when I came home hubby swears she is bleeding again, and said he noticed some blood spots on the floor. I have checked both pups and cannot find anything to suggest blood from any orifice of either dog. She is not really swollen and hasn't been irritable. I don't know what else to make of it. Of course, being a nurse, I wanted a complete analysis of the spots, of which he could not provide
Sooo, I shall have to wait and see for myself if I can make heads or tails of the mystery. For now, do any of you YT'ers have any thoughts on the subject??
