I got an above ground kiddie pool for the dogs to play in (its considered family size but its one of those inflatable pools) and I was wondering what I can use to clean it. It doesnt have a filter and I keep a pool cover over it when its not in use but it still has a lot of algae that grew in it in less than a week. Ive been told I can use a cup of bleach in it and that it would get diluted so it wouldnt be dangerous for the dogs but yet powerful enough to kill algae. Has anyone heard this? I went to the store and I looked at those chlorhine tablets and Sock-it, but you arent supposed to use those in a kiddie pool and they require a filter. So what should I do? This pool is too big to keep dumping water and filling it back up.
