There's not really any classification of Extra large, she was probably just kidding about having a larger Yorkie. Yorkies are one of the most diverse breeds, ranging from 2lbs. to 15+lbs, smooth hair to cotton hair, long nose to short nose, & everything inbetween. The standard is 4-7lbs, like Nicole said, but there are many variations that happen often. My first Yorkie, Tucker came from purebred parents weighing 6 & 5lbs, and he weighs 12, so- it can happen
