Default grooming

Make sure the groomer can give you plenty of references, ask if they have ever had an unhappy owner. How long have they been grooming, where and by whom they were trained.Personally I will never take my baby back to PetSmart or Petco, they hire groomers that have no training and there have been so many complaints from customers.Get out your phone book and look for breeders ,ask them if there are any groomers in the area they would reccommend .If there are no breeders call your vet.Remember ,this is YOUR baby they are using scissors on. I would also ask if they have a video camera that shows the grooming procedure.I don't want someone I don't know not handling a delicate puppy ( or any animal ) in a gentle and proper way.Good luck,I hope you find the right one because the wrong groomer can make your sweet baby a nervous wreck every time you step through the door to have it done again.
