So sorry to hear about your family feud.
I have a similar problem... I had my kitty first, when I brought diggs home (that's my yorkies name) my kitty was preggers! She had her babies 2 weeks later
Now she HATES my Diggs. He wants to be friends and get to know the babies, Momma says NO WAY.
She has gone after him (teeth nashing, fur flying) on several occasions. I try very hard to keep them seperated but he is very persistant!!! I am hoping that someday they will learn to tolerate each other but I highly doubt it. Good Luck,
