I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday weekend!!
I posted a lot last week about our new addition, Dixie and her troubles that she was having getting used to her crate and her new big brother. I was so worried because she was crying all night long and we were supposed to go camping this holiday weekend with my parents in their camper. I was so stressed because I didn't know what I was going to do if she started whining while my parents were trying to sleep.
Well....Dixie did great!!! It was so strange!! She whined every night, until the first night camping (Friday night) and not a single whimper from her all weekend!!
I couldn't believe it. All three nights, she went right into her crate and laid down and was totally quiet ALL night long!!
My dad kept telling me that he just couldn't believe that there were two dogs in the camper, because it was so quiet!! WOOHOO!!
Just like yorkies to make you worry half to death for absolutely no reason!
Her and Yogi also got some very special bonding time while camping. So now, they are getting along great, most of the time!!
Thanks to all who offered support and advice on how to get Dixie adjusted! The soothing toys and the ticking clock worked like magic and we are all sleeping peacefully again!!
