I picked Buddy up the same day - just a few hours after the surgery. Now he is finally normal (2nd day since surgery) - no more pain meds. He seems happy - tail up. He's scratching at his e-collar, but not too bad. Peeing and pooping normal (a little diarrhea, I assume from the leftover pain meds).
He is currently trying to kill his Big Mean Kitty toy. I am hoping there is no more trauma! I have to bring him to daycare tomorrow and I'm worried about how he'll do, staying in a crate all day (which is what they do for "convalescents" - they just let them out to pee and poop and cuddle them a bit). |
