i have a problem with aggressive unleashed dogs in my neighborhood too. i have one yorkie and i keep a can of spray mace hanging from my leash handle. in an emergency i can scoop romeo up in one arm and spray the aggressive dog. it's a shame that i have to prepare for such a situation. i have not had to spray a dog yet , but a few weeks ago before i had the spray a pit bull jumped a fence and was on my back. a landscaper came to our aid and saved us from attack. i'm considering getting a second dog too. i just can't decide either. it's a big responsibility. i would be devastated if anything ever happened to romeo. |
