Okay guys do vets do this all differently. When Starsky was neutered they kept him overnight. When I went to pick him up the next day he was totally normal. I had to calm him down as I didn't want him to hurt anything. I did get pain pills for him which I gave to him at night, but I almost don't think he needed any. I never had to take him back to have the stitches removed either. They just disolved, I guess. I am shocked to hear about how much pain your little guy is having. I would may be call another vet and get another opinon over the phone. (just to see if this is normal) |
