. He loves it round there and the Royal parks are gorgeous. St James Park is very ornamental and pretty and there are special rules for dogs there because all the ducks, swans and pretty much every living thing (including the squirrels which are considered vermin elsewhere) fall under a special Royal warrant. So if your dog attacks a duck or goose, you get two charges: one for having a dog out of control and the other for destruction of the Queen's game which is very serious and carries jail time. Green Park is much bigger and has great big open fields that have been especially designed so that they look like the English countryside - so lots of tall grass, big oak trees, daffodils and daisies. It's just wonderful and I feel safe enough there to leave him off lead. Watching him jumping through the long grass is the cutest thing ever
