Yes it works,, and so does just a blacklight bulb.. but it does have to be completely black in the room,, I used it when my 16 year old cat started having accidents,,, I was HORRIFIED when I found what I found!!
I just bought a regular blacklight bulb and put in one of those desk lights that has the adjustable arm and walked around with a long extension cord.. Luckily the cat stayed in one room! But thats when I went in search of the odor remover,, which worked...
I posted it on here before... 1 bottle hydrogen peroxide, 1 teaspoon dawn dish soap, and one tablespoon baking soda ,, mix and pour or squirt on spots you find! let dry and vacuum.
