Aww! I just love cats. That one is adorable!

We have two cats and initially our puppy was quite shy with them and would act all timid when they came up to him. Now, however, he doesn't go near them but still acts up when they are around - barking and running in mad circles around them. One actually quite likes him (despite his terrible manners) but the other just runs away from him. I would give it some time but make sure they're separated when you're not there and supervised when you are for now. Try and put the cat in your lap in front of your Yorkie so he can see that the cat is part of the family. I did this with our Morris and Badger kind of got the message that Morris was not to be messed around with pretty early on. Apart from that, and of course dependent on everyone else's point of view, I think it's just one of those things where Yorkies and cats just don't really get along. Good luck though, I'm sure it'll all work out just fine and in time they'll be great friends and if not, suitably respectful of each other to be able to get along in relative peace
