Welcome ans so sorry about Jazzy. Cali is my 4th Yorkie and she does not have Lp but was in the Er clinic for surgery for a possible blockage while she was in heat. So they did surgery and spayed her and did liver biopsies and intestinal biopsies as well. I was a wreck. They called me as soon as surgery was over and i called every 4 hours to checkon her and they wgere so nice to me, She had to stay 36 hours after surgery because she couldn't keep food down at first. She was fine when I got her home just very tired for 2-3 days. I'm glad you are having a specialist to the surgery, I had a board certified surgeon so if they found a liver shunt they could fix it. Unfortunately they couldn't remove all her baby teeth she has retained (nearly all of them) because she was having a hard time keeping he body temp up so they wanted to get her up.
But Jazzy shoud do just fine. I will keep her in my prayers |
