You probably have a purebreed Yorkie. Of course, the registries (even AKC) are only as honest as the people who use them. Some may use ACA when they have been banned from AKC for wrongdoing, or some may use ACA when they only received limited registration (no breeding rights) for their AKC dog, or some have dogs that were registered ACA so ACA registration for the pups is their only option.

Some of the registries take your word for it that the dog is purebreed and will register it as such so be careful with registries other than AKC UKC or CKC (Canadian Kennel Club - not Continental Kennel Club).

I would research the registration requirements of each - ACA stands for American Canine Association and does have a website. I emailed them out of curiosity and said I had a father that was registered AKC and a mother that was purebred, but didn't have any papers that I knew of, would they register the litter and they said they could not. So apparently they have some standards, but there are several out there that would have.
