I did speak to an investigator from the SPCA, she said that they are in compliance with Texas Law. She said that they have been out there several times and every time every thing has been okay. She said he runs his kennel as breeding kennels, she said there is a difference between these and puppy mills. She said he only breeds his dogs three to four times and then sells them as pets. I asked why it was okay to sell so many different breeds of dogs, she said that he sometimes purchases from other breeders. He has gotten in trouble with this from the BBB for poor business practices by not letting people know this. She said his kennels are very clean and there is not much they can do at this point. She said he even has a quarentine section for puppies that he imports or for puppies that he knows to be sick. The only thing she said I could do was to report them for administering meds and not taking the puppy to a vet. She said he has also showed her all of his vet bills and vaccination records. She said this has also gone to court many times and every time, he has been found to be in compliance with state law. She also tried to explain that when people are dealing with that many puppies, there are going to be some sicks ones every now and then. OKAY, but I explained that he should not sell sick puppies and at least pick up the vet bill. Another person also contacted me and told me that the lady who said she worked there with over 500 puppies was also countersued by them and they won due to her embezzling money!! I don't know what to believe, but it sounds like he keeps his business in line when it comes to the legal matters of the kennels and his puppies.
