Hello!

I am new to Yorkie Talk; I just found the site last week and joined immediatly! I belong to a couple of other smaller yorkie boards, but was so excited to see the number of posts/threads/active members on YT. I don't have a yorkie yet, but hope to by the end of this month. I am going to look at a litter of yorkies May 15, and hope to be able to bring my new baby home that weekend or Memorial Day weekend.

I am 22 and live in Central NY (state, not city). My boyfriend and I have a 9 mo. old cat named Theo, who would love a companion to play with (I hope!) I fell in love with the yorkie breed 3 or 4 years ago, and I've been seriously researching the breed and breeders for almost a year. Unfortunatly, I don't know any reputable breeder in my area, so I'll be traveling 5 hours to southern NJ to get a puppy. However, I feel it's well worth the drive.

I'm happy to be here. I love seeing photos of others' yorkies and have found some great information on the breed.
