From this post, I assume you havenot been to visit the male nor has the male's owner visited you. Have the dogs had a chance to even meet each other? Have they been tested for STD's? Is either of them proven? I am not intending to be mean but it sounds as if you have a lot of research and educating yourself about the possibilities of fatal outcome when breeding. Never breed your female house pet. They are just that -PETS!! Lordy, you could lose something that you love so much.
Maybe you could let this cycle go and find an ex[erienced, professional mentor and then have a wonderful experience when you do decide you are ready to breed.
