Default Personally...

I think it's more of a problem of irresponsible breeding and irresponsible owners. Unfortunately Pits are one of the most overbred dogs in the US. Which means irresponsible people who don't give their dogs much care are more likely to get ahold of them. I think that if the issue of overbreeding was solved, then it would fix many of the problems such as dog attacks, overpopulation, and animal cruelty.
LA is talking about a law that would make all pets be microchipped and fixed unless it was used as a registered breeder. I think this is a great idea because animals will only be in the hands of loving people who cherish their pets. I do not believe animals should be easy to get ahold of because they are not cheap to keep. If there are less animals irresponsibly bred, then less will be put down in the future. Also, less idiots will be able to get ahold of pitt bulls and other breeds roughing them up instead of raising them to be loving animals.
