Deb, i am so sorry for you and your family, my heart goes out to you. I have just now read all your threads about Joey, i don't know how i could have missed them. He sure was a gorgeous little boy! He was/is very loved... i know it's hard to lose a loved one. He is in a good place now where he feels no pain. I know it's easy for us to say, time is a healer, but we know your pain, it hurts literally.
Having to break the tragic news to your daughter is going to be very hard, but, in time she will understand.
Don't place any guilt on yourself, you did all you could have done.
