I remember the first time Tyke came in with a chipmunk (a few years ago). Poor lil chipmunk was still alive

Tyke looked so proud though and it was hard to yell at him lol. I took the poor chipmunk and took him outside. Don't know what happened to the poor lil guy
And then a couple weeks later I was sitting on the back deck with Tyke (he's usually trained to stay on the deck) when like lightening he FLEW off the deck. I stood there yelling at him to come back and a few minutes later he came prancing back with something in his mouth. Yup, another chipmunk

This one was dead too and part of it was missing cuz Tyke decided he was hungry

Tyke, again looked at me like he was so proud and I couldn't yell at him.
Needless to say I had him sleeping with my dad that night so he could wake HIM up when he wanted to throw up lol
Does anyone know if Yorkies have an instinct in them to hunt rodents because Tyke goes CRAZY when he sees a squirrel or a rabbit or a chipmunk or anything. He used to fling himself against the sliding door (it's clear glass) trying to get out and chase them
My doggie's crazy...but I love him
