We have two male yorkies.
At first our older one wanted NOTHIGN to do with our younger one. He would hide underneath the bed where we couldn't get to him. Whenever the baby would prance in...he would hide.
Now they play together. Bubba will get in his face and they'll start playing...it looks like they're fighting at times so we have to break them up. And the noises they make when they are playing is hilarious! It's a mix between a growl and a bark and I crack up everytime. Then when Tyke (our older Yorkie) has had it with Bubba he'll put his butt in his face and stay there. He has also managed to literally pin Bubba down. The other day we caught Bubba trying to hump Tyke's face. You haven't seen something as funny as a 4 pound one year old humping an 11 pound eight year old dog!!!!
Overall...ours do get along. The only problem we have now is our old one had a torn ACL and is now getting arthritis in that bad leg and the vet thinks that he some spinal arthritis is starting to form. Bubba will get in Tyke's face and try to fight him and Tyke can't do it much anymore so for most of the day we have to keep Tyke on the other side of the gate in the living room with his stuff away from Bubba. We do let them be together during the day though but once Bubba starts to get a little rough with him then we have to Tyke to where Bubba can't get him.
It took a while for Tyke to accept Bubba...but now they're fine. Before Tyke got hurt we would let them play and we figured Bubba was keeping Tyke young because all Tyke would do otherwise was lay down.
Good luck
