Not sure what "the Fablish incident" is that you refer to , but I can guess, by what you said. I'm in Denver, Colorado. Denver has had a Pitt Bull ban for several years. In the last 2 years, 5 or 6 municipalities have passed or are considering passing a similar ban. One or two will grandfather in exsisting dogs, but no new dogs are allowed. Most want owners to get rid of their dogs, so it's either that, hiding the dogs, or moving. Many surrounding cities feared people moving there, and becoming a magnet for Pitts. So, without anything actually happening, they've enacted these restrictive ordinances.
