I hadn't seen anything until today about Bentley, but I will keep him in my thoughts. I had a Yorkie named Booker that, many years ago, got sick very quickly. In less than 3 days, he was close to death!!! with some type of respiratory infection. The vets weren't sure what it was, but he also had trouble breathing. One of the vets went to the hardware store and got all the supplies to make an oxygen tent, since they didn't have one. After about a week in there he started to improve. I visited at least once a day, and also could not touch him, only talk to him, but I think my voice made a difference. Booker finally got well, and there were no lingering problems. I understand how difficult this is for both of you, and hope for the same happy ending for you. |
