I have a 7 months old Yorkie "Royce" and I would like to get the feedback regarding this . I work during the day so I'm away from home for about 7 hours during that time I gate him in the kitchen and I dont leave any toys as Im scared to death of accidents . Then when I come home at 4 PM all my time 90% of my time is devoted to my little boy, I take him for a walk and I take him with me basically everywhere I go then I play with him take care of him prepare his meals brushhim etc,,, at night he sleeps in my bed .
I feel terribly guilty about gating him for 7 hours but I have no choice I have to work ( hopefully by the end of June I will be able to cut on my working hours sothat he is not gated for7 hours ) . Do you think that according to this schedule he has a balanced day ? And how many hours a day do you spend playing with your yorkie ?
