He was born without a soft palate, so they went in and took his tonsels and made a soft palate. The surgery only gave him 50% of what he should have, after the first check up half of that was gone. Now all is gone.
So now they want to go in and the best I can describe it is they want to fillet the inside of his checks and use that skin to give him a soft palate.
But as we know nothing is guaranteed.
Without the soft palate some of his food comes out through his nose, which he then hacks, sneezes, coughs and so on. The past several days I have been in contact with the surgeon viva messages, not talking to him one on one. And still waiting today for him to get back to me once again.
