I'm going to copy it all down and get started on them. I have a pattern for a sweater on a circular needle size 6, 16", maybe I can adapt that pattern on those needles.
I made my daughters mini- Italian Greyhound a few sweaters; they have very slim bodies, he's just 9 lbs so it was a challenge. He wears his sweater every day, indoors as he doesn't have much skin covering for fur. I attached a SNOOD in the neck area, its like a long turtleneck, and made legs on it with cuffs, they have a special curve in the back section to conform to their slim body. It came out cute !
In the case of the circular needle I'd just mark off the 3 places you mentioned and increase where you said to increase, it should work the same with the circular needles. I'm going to try it both ways anyways and see which is easier and let you know.
