Poor little Cosmo ... so glad he's resting! Toto had that when she was tiny ... our vet gave her a liquid medication. She just went ahead and put it in little syringes [14] in a container which made it really easy to give. When she got older and had pills to take, I put a dab of NutriCal on the end of my finger and stuck the pill in the middle of it. With my other hand I would gently make her open her mouth and when her little tongue came out I immediately put the pill on the back of her tongue, close her mouth and hold it shut for a minute. This forces her to pull her tongue in and swallow! I then give her another dab of NutriCal and she is happy!! Hope Cosmo is better soon!
