We've just been through the same thing and decided to get a girl. Winston is 14 months and he is getting a sister, Maggie, on June 17th. I say go for it
. We're excited. Winston is not. We setup Maggie's crate 3 weekends ago so he'd be use to it. To this day, he refuses to acknowledge it. If we bring up the name Maggie, he just picks up his ball and goes to the next room. But I think it will be good for him to have a playmate.
