Hmmm...What if it was their neighbors dog? Maybe there was a feud between neighbors or the dog barked all day and they wanted it gone for that reason. Or....maybe a family member passed away and no one wanted to take on the responsibility of the dog. Maybe nothing sinister at all. Lots of people give up their dogs to the pound every day for really lame reasons so maybe these people just decided they couldn't keep the dog and wanted to make sure it got a good home. Did they act like they cared if you would be a good owner or did they just hand her over no questions asked?
