Her vocal cords are already developed, lol.
She has yet to find a reason to use them. If you're wanting her to bark, create a situation in which she most likely would. Maybe tease her w/ a toy or tease her w/ a yummy treat that has a strong smell to it. Otherwise, just give it some time and as she matures, I can assure you you'll hear a bark or two from her then. I teach all of my dogs to bark on command, just because it's something fun. And on the flipside, they also know "No" and "Quiet" for those times in which they choose to bark and one or two is okay, but when enough is enough I can have them stop. |
