I use the moustache trimmers too. The way it works best for me is, I put her on the ground standing up then I'll put one of my feet/legs under her belly just in front of her back legs (I'm sitting on the ground too if you are wondering). This keeps her standing up and also it seems a litte harder for her to walk away like this. This also leaves both hands free I use one for the clippers obviously and the other I will kinda hold her tail up with along with all that hair. I will say I have nicked Reagan before too. I think as you get more confident you will get better and also be less likely to nick them.
