When Dennis was a baby he also got pretty sick after his shots and the Vet told me to give him a half of a baby aspirin, though with his third round of shots they gave him a whole one just to be sure. I usually sweet-talk him and gently rub an ear, belly, or temple. I think it helps them to know you understand that they are sick and that is very comforting for them.
