I would take the stool and bring it to the vet. Just to be on the safe side. But my MeeMee was taking a poo one night while I was playing cards with the ladies.... and I freaked out because it was poo and ooozes of blood! This is a little gross.... but I picked up the poo and I really looked at the blood and even smelled it. It didn't smell like blood..... I was almost going to run out the door to the emergency vet. Everybody was trying to calm me down and even MeeMee was looking at me like, what's the problem ma?????? Then I saw the bag of jelly gummy on the sofa.... it was cherry flavor and I realized she had gotten to it and it just what was coming out of her!
So I didn't go to the vet and she is fine.... but if you don't know what it is... and it looks like blood.... don't take any chances. Good Luck! |
