PLEASE Help Me!! I have had my yorkie for over a year now. She is 15 months old. We have trained her to go on the pads in the house. We were having a problem with her peeing on the rug in the dining room. It got so bad that we needed to replace the floor and put in laminate. I thought that was going to solve our problems. My husband came downstairs this morning and noticed that she peed on the living room carpet now. He said it look like she has gone there before. I don't know how to stop her from doing this. When we are home she always runs to the pads because she knows she is going to get a treat. She never sniffs the carpet when we are there with her. I can't keep her confined to the kitchen because she will freak out and bark all day. I live in a townhouse so, I don't think my neighbors would appreciate that. At night we leave her downstairs by herself since she doesn't get along with my cats. So, I can't see what she is doing overnight. I'm just so frustrated with this whole thing. I can't afford to keep replacing my carpets. My husband is flipping out about it. If anyone can give me some advice I would appreciate it. |
