The ironic thing is my oldest son was a much better student than this one...all the extra curricular activities...4+ gpa...full academic scholarship...1450 on SAT...the list could go on and on...but he was only listed in the paper a few times with a group...and then comes along this kid...who could care less about school..just did what it takes to get by..but he places 2nd in a competition last month and since then has had 4 newspaper articles w/ pictures about him, with this one being Student of the week
, as well as a paragraph in the school newspaper
His older brother is going to be po'd
(but in a good way cause he is proud of little bro and glad that because of the competition he will be moving to Orlando)
