Kennel cough tends to be mild but in some dogs if it is not treated and it persists it can lead to some serious problems. Has your dog had a bordella intranasal vaccine? It is not a shot and is typically not given with the other shots, it is squirted up the nose . This will prevent your dog from getting kennel cough. You should always make sure that your dog gets this every year especially if you are going to board them or get them groomed.
