I'm having the same dilema. I had my first baby girl, Cece, spayed when she was almost a year old and after that she's been having seizures and will be on medication the rest of her life.
After that ordeal, it really scared me and now, my Brownie is four years old and is still not spayed yet. She's a whopping 3.5lbs and I'm afraid that she's not going to come out of the operating room like her old self again.
I've put off spaying her, but now since I've been on this forum, it seems like almost everyone here is FOR spaying or neutering. Are there any of you out there that still have un-spayed/un-neutered pets (not breeders)?
What are the pros/cons of spaying?
